City Leadership Board
Purpose of the City Leadership Board
To bring together representatives from each partnership Delivery Board to -
- Focus on seeing real improvement in the lives of the people of Hull;
- Drive (monitor and challenge) overall delivery of the partnership's ambitions as set out in the City's Partnership Strategy;
- Identify inter-dependencies and opportunities for more effective coordination between the various strategic and spatial partnerships;
- Maintain consistency and coherence of partnership arrangements and delivery plans.
Objectives
- To co-ordinate the delivery of a single overarching long term vision for the City to improve the economic, social and environmental well-being of its citizens
- To understand customer needs in order to improve the quality of life of all those who live, work and visit the City
- To drive forward the delivery of the Partnership Strategy, by regularly monitoring outcomes, and ensuring successful inter-dependent working between the delivery boards
- To establish, as appropriate, task and finish groups where specific and time limited work is required in relation to meeting the outcomes of the Partnership Strategy
- To monitor and ensure the efficient use of resources to achieve effective partnership working
- To be the catalyst for the spread of new ways of working across the partnership, starting with Community Budgeting and the effective use of assets through the Total Capital programme.

Frequency of meeting: Every 6 weeks
Accountability: Meetings will be open to the public, and public questions will be allowed. The Council's Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee will review the progress in delivering the outcomes of the partnership strategy, every quarter.
