Working alongside ONE HULL, Area Partnerships deal with issues that matter most too local people directly in their neighbourhoods.
As the City of Hull is split into 7 areas, each with its own Hull City Council Area Committee, a local area partnership has been established in each sector. The Area Partnerships ensure the Community Strategy and Local Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy outcomes are achieved at a localised level (please refer to the ONE HULL Partnership Toolkit and Governance Handbook for the Terms of Reference).
Each of the 7 Area Partnerships produce a regular Audit of their neighbourhood, which provides a better understanding of local facilities and assets.
Along with research and consultations, Action Plans have been produced to address major issues for concern in each area to try and create a better City for everyone to live in and improve the quality of life for local people.
